Anchorage’s KTUU Channel 2 does a better job than most television stations at covering outdoor news including hunting and fishing.
But a story this week this week about poor blacktail deer hunting conditions on Prince of Wales Island in Southeast Alaska, including questions about possible predation by wolves, missed a little with the accompanying video.
The video that ran with the story included neither deer nor wolves nor footage of POW, but did include herds of caribou and Dall’s sheep, much to the amusement of Alaska hunters.
