 The Alaska Board of Fisheries (BOF) and Board of Game (BOG) will convene a teleconference meeting of its Joint Board Committee (committee) at 11 a.m., December 21. The purpose of the committee meeting is to review and recommend to both boards the necessity of holding a full Joint Board meeting during the 2018/2019 meeting cycle.

The two boards have not held a joint meeting in several years and a recent BOF and BOG meetings, the value of a joint meeting was discussed at length.

 The meeting will stream live over the Internet on the Joint Board website at http://www.adfg.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=process.jointboard.

 Committee meetings are open to the public. A meeting agenda and other meeting materials will be available on the Joint Board meeting information website at www.adfg.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=process.jbmeetinginfo.

 The committee is seeking written comments from the public on the meeting purpose. Written comments may be mailed to Boards Support Section at P.O. Box 115526, Juneau, AK  99811-5526, emailed to dfg.bof.comments@alaska.gov (PDF only), faxed to (907) 465-6094, or entered online at http://www.adfg.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=process.jointboard. Written comments must be received by Tuesday, December 19.
