The Homer Winter King Salmon Tournament is the premier fishing tournament of Alaska. Every March anglers take to the waters of Kachemak Bay in search of King Salmon. The one-day tournament awards tens of thousands of dollars in prize money to the largest kings caught. In 2017 Ron Johnson of Homer won $53,528.25 with a 25.65 lb. White King Salmon.

After the fishing lines are pulled from the water join the festivities at the weigh in located at Coal Point on the Homer Spit. Join us for music, food, beer, and big fish!
